Our new playground...
Mokoia Intermediate students have been waiting for along time now for our new playground and finally, we got it! It is great with its monkey bars, swinging rops and so much more! Thankyou to everyone who helped to pay for our great, playful playground.

Mr Hayes
Our class at Mokoia Intermediate heard about Mr Hayes and how he was victim of a robbery that went on for more then 6 months. Teenagers kept coming back and stealing money, car and more.
We were disgraced to hear about this so we had a school bake sale and made 200 dollars for Mr Hayes we also made him a gift basket with lots of yummy treats and tooth brushes and soap. As well as that we made him 28 cards from every student in our class. He was delighted to get all these wonderful gifts.

Silently waiting
The dusky, murky sky lit up by the deadly bombs.
Unwelcoming, abominable smell of innocent people dying.
Shrill screams of soldiers scrambling for shelter.
The sweltering heat of air from deadly bullets brushes past my rustic, brown rifle.
Draughty grey smoke in my
dry, lifeless mouth.
I think the enemy is coming for me…
